USA Fistball National Championships Return to Hackettstown, New Jersey

Hackettstown, NJ - The road to a national championship runs through Hackettstown, New Jersey, as the 2026 USA Fistball National Championships take place September 26–27 as part of Hackettstown’s annual Oktoberfest celebrations.

The weekend will bring together some of the nation’s top fistball athletes as teams compete for the title of USA Fistball National Champion in both the women’s and men’s divisions.

With two women’s teams and four men’s teams set to compete, this year’s championship promises a weekend of high-level fistball, competition, and community celebration.

The women’s championship will feature a two-team showdown between:

• South Jersey Fistball Club

• Phoenix Sports Club

  
  

With just two teams competing, every match will carry significant weight as the clubs battle in a rematch of last year's National Championship.

Four teams will compete for the men’s national championship:

• South Jersey Fistball Club

• Phoenix Sports Club

• Swim and Sports Club

• Wisconsin Fistball Association

  
  

The men’s field features a mix of established American fistball programs, making for a competitive championship race from the opening serve through the final point.

South Jersey Fistball Club enters the weekend as the defending national champion at both the men's and women's level and will look to once again claim the top spot in the United States.

With both a men's and women's team competing, South Jersey FC will have multiple opportunities to add another national championship to its résumé. But with Phoenix Sports Club, Swim and Sports Club, and Wisconsin Fistball Association all in the field, the defending champions will have plenty of competition standing in their way.

The 2026 National Championships will take place as part of Hackettstown's annual Oktoberfest celebrations, giving spectators the opportunity to experience fistball while enjoying everything the community event has to offer.

Vendors and additional activities will be on display throughout the day until 8:00 p.m.

So whether you're coming specifically for fistball, looking for a fun fall weekend activity, or discovering the sport for the first time, there's something for everyone.

USA Fistball is still accepting free agent registrations for the 2026 National Championships. If you're interested in playing but aren't currently part of one of the registered teams, this is your opportunity to get involved and compete alongside fellow fistball players from across the country.
