The anticipation is building as the United States Men's National Fistball team prepares to redeem themselves on the world stage at the upcoming 2023 World Championship. Disappointed by their 10th place finish at the 2019 championship in Winterthur, the team is motivated to leave a lasting impression this time around. With their sights set on a top 8 finish, the team aims to solidify their spot in the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, signifying their growth and commitment to excellence in the sport.
Led by head coach Rodrigo Salas, the US Men's National Fistball team has carefully selected its roster, comprising some of the most talented and dedicated players in the country. The team features a perfect blend of youthful energy and seasoned veterans, all united by their shared love for the sport and the honor of representing their nation. Assisting Coach Salas is Denis Nicoladeli from Curitiba, Brazil, whose extensive knowledge and expertise from his years coaching and assisting the Brazil national teams will be invaluable to the US team. To round out the technical committee for the US Men's National Team, Theo Theodorakoglu (Birmingham, AL) will serve as Delegation Leader and Robert Weinberger (Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany) will enter into the Team Assistant role.
